Spencer inspired manicure
In episode 6 of season one, Spencer looked very sophisticated in this gorgeous shimmery dress, with burgundy lips and nails. But I thought her nails looked a bit simple for that occasion. So I tried pairing a deep cherry red lacquer (Sephora by OPI’s “I’m with Brad”) with China Glaze’s “Luxe and Lush” nail polish, and I think it compliments her look very well. The flakes remind me of the shimmer in her dress! I thought I’d share it with you since the top coat gives unique effects depending on which polish your pair it with! I’m in love with it, plus, it’s from The Hunger Games collection, for all of the series’ lovers out there ;)

EASY NAIL STRIPES TUTORIAL
This manicure is inspired by the dress Spencer was wearing in episode 212, for the wedding of Hanna’s father. I thought it would be nice to share with you a method to make perfect stripes for your nails!

First here is what you’re going to need :- White nail polish (I used Revlon’s Powder Puff)
- 3 colors of your choice (Aldo’s “Anis Étoilé”, Essie’s “A Crewed Interest”, “Revlon’s “Lilac Pastelle”). I used the most similar colors I had to the stripes on Spencer’s dress. I noticed I don’t own a yellow polish. I need to take care of this…
- A clear top coat
- Scotch tape
- Scisssors
- Tweezers (optional)

First, paint 3 pieces of scotch tape with your colored nail polish.

While the tape is drying, paint all of your nails white. Let them dry before doing the next step.
Cut the tape into thin stripes.

Using your tweezers or fingers, place the stripes on your nails. The glue under the tape will make them stay in place.

Cut the excess with scissors, then apply a thick coat of clear nail polish to seal them in place. You can repeat the design on each nail or only on accent nails. If necessary, clean around your nails with a cotton swab dipped into nail polish remover. And you’re all done!

Shay Mitchell tweeted a pic of her nails today! Seems like she is wearing NCLA nail wraps in “Jazzi”. Seriously, how cool are those designs? You can find them here!

So this is a picture Lucy Hale tweeted a while back, and she was wearing Sally Hansen’s Salon Effects in “Cross My Heart”. They’re obviously from a Valentine’s day collection, but you can still find them online on a few websites (like here)!

SPRING PASTELS - PLL promo inspired manicure
When I saw this picture on my dash, I thought the colors of the dresses looked beautiful together. That’s how I was inspired to do this manicure, which is a pastel colored gradient. I simply painted each of my nails with a different shade, going from lilac to pink to peach. Simple isn’t it? And I think the final result is fun and very spring-ish!

The colors are used are, from left to right : Urban Outfitters’ “Hangover”, Essie’s “A Crewed Interest”, OPI’s “Sweetheart”, Revlon’s “Lilac Pastelle” and Sephora by OPI’s “It’s Hippo To Be Square”.The fun part with this mani is : you can do it with similar shades, in any range of color, or going from dark to pale!

Shay Mitchell & Ashley Benson
I found this picture posted by Shay a while ago, and I thought I’d find what she and Ashley were wearing! They turned out to be NCLA’s nail strips in “Secession Strikes” and “Jungle Fever”. You can find them here and here.
Just doing a quick late night post before going to bed, good night!

TRIBAL & NEON PINK - Hanna inspired manicure tutorial
Since tutorials have been requested a lot, I decided I would create manicures based on the liars outfits! This first one is inspired by Hanna’s shirt in episode 214.

To recreate the look, all you need is a bright pink nail polish and a black striper (you can also use a thin paint brush and regular black lacquer). The polishes I used are both from L.A. Colors, the pink one is called “Electric Charge”.

Start off with a base coat, then paint all of your nails with the pink polish.

Using the black striper, paint a large stripe at the tip of your nail, then paint a thin line across its middle.

Paint a “W” between those two stripes and make sure it is centered.

Trace two diagonal lines on either sides of the “W”. You will see 3 triangles left, simply trace 3 little “V” shapes to create tiny triangles inside the first ones.

This part is trickier, but juste take your time and it will be fine :) Trace 2 triangles, facing downward and touching each other, in the center of your nail. Repeat these steps on its left and right side.
You can repeat the design on all of your nails or only use it as an accent on one or two fingers, like I did.Clean up around your nails with a cotton swab dipped into polish remover. Finish up with a top coat and that’s it!Please let me know if you like these outfit inspired tutorials :)
